Berlin

I first visited the German capital in 2017 in order to attend a games and arts festival; I returned in 2019 as part of a staff conference. On both occasions I was struck by how unusually vibrant the city is. It has been an interesting challenge for an amateur street photographer like me.

Seeing the Sights in 2017

I filled in some time before my flight home from the festival by walking all the way round from Checkpoint Charlie to Siegelssäule via Brandenburger Tor — a few of the best hours I’ve spent in any city.
